Delete your TeoriGuiden account

You can delete your account in the app or request deletion from TeoriGuiden ApS by email, even if you no longer have the app.

Deletion in the app

  1. Open TeoriGuiden and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. On iPhone/iPad, select Profile → Account → Delete account (Profil → Konto → Slet konto). On Android, select Profile → Delete account (Profil → Slet konto).
  3. Read the confirmation and confirm deletion. You may be asked to sign in again.

If the app displays an error, deletion may not have been completed. Try again or contact us below.

Request deletion without the app

Email teoriguiden@gmail.com with the subject “Delete TeoriGuiden account”. Provide your account email address and sign-in method (Apple or Google), and state that you want the account and associated data deleted. If you use Sign in with Apple with a hidden email address, your account may use Apple's relay address.

We may ask you to verify your identity to prevent others from having your account deleted. Never send passwords, payment card details or your Danish civil registration number (CPR). You can also contact us if you only want specific personal data deleted.

What is removed?

  • Your TeoriGuiden sign-in profile in Firebase Authentication.
  • Your user document and account-linked progress and access information in Firestore.

You lose access to your account's saved progress. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account or cloud data. Your Apple/Google account and the stores' own purchase history are not deleted when you delete your TeoriGuiden account.

Feedback, retention and purchases

Feedback is stored separately without being automatically linked to your account ID. If you included personal data in a message and want it deleted, please help us locate the message, for example by providing its date and content. Support emails are also handled separately.

Information necessary for a specific legal obligation or dispute may be retained longer. Providers' technical logs and backups follow their deletion processes. For example, Firebase states that authentication data may take up to 180 days to be removed after deletion is initiated. See the different retention periods in the privacy policy.

Deleting your account does not automatically refund purchases. Current iOS access periods do not renew automatically. Questions about refunds for App Store purchases can be directed to Apple.

When will you hear from us?

The app attempts to complete deletion when you confirm it. For requests sent to us, we respond without undue delay and normally within one month of receipt. If a complex request requires a lawful extension, we will notify you and explain why within the first month.
