Terms for TeoriGuiden

These terms apply to your use of the TeoriGuiden app and the services provided by TeoriGuiden ApS.

This is a practical draft, not individual legal advice. Review the terms before publication, particularly pricing, trial periods, refunds and limitations of liability.

2. The service

TeoriGuiden is a digital learning tool for practising driving theory, road signs and vehicle technology. The app supplements lessons and does not guarantee that a user will pass the official theory test.

3. Account

You are responsible for protecting access to your account and providing accurate information. You must not transfer, sell or misuse an account. We may restrict or close access in the event of serious misuse, a security risk or a breach of these terms.

4. Subscriptions and payment

TeoriGuiden may be offered as an automatically renewing subscription through Apple's App Store. The specific price, subscription period and any trial period are displayed in the app before you confirm your purchase.

  • Payment is charged through the Apple Account used for the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in your Apple subscription settings within Apple's applicable deadline.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription under Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device.

5. Restoration, cancellation and refunds

Purchases can normally be restored in the app by selecting Restore purchases (Gendan køb). Cancellation stops future renewal but generally leaves access available until the end of the period already paid for.

Payments and refund requests are managed by Apple under Apple's rules. TeoriGuiden ApS cannot itself reverse a purchase processed by Apple.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • copy or distribute the app's content without permission,
  • attempt to bypass payment, security or access controls,
  • use the app in a way that harms the service or other users,
  • reverse engineer the app, except where expressly permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property

The app, design, code, images, audio, questions, text, trademarks and other content belong to TeoriGuiden ApS or our licensors. Your payment grants a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use the content, not ownership of it.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app available and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, improve or change features and content. Material changes affecting a paid subscription are handled in accordance with applicable rules and Apple's subscription terms.

9. Liability

TeoriGuiden is a practice tool and does not replace official instruction, applicable traffic laws or materials issued by the authorities. We are liable under the general rules of Danish law, but not for indirect losses to the extent that such a limitation is permitted by mandatory law.

11. Cancellation and account deletion

You can cancel your subscription through Apple and delete your account in the app's account settings. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are two separate actions. See Delete account.

12. Apple's standard licence

Unless a separate licence agreement is specified in App Store Connect, Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to use of the app: Apple's standard EULA.
